30 CHILRDRENS CHARITIES CHOSEN DURING 30TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Winning Charities to share nearly $665,000 from this year’s Heart of Canal Street Fundraising 

Heart of Canal Street celebrated 30 years of giving to children’s charities today by randomly selecting 30 organizations during a fantastic finale at Potawatomi Casino Hotel.

This year’s Heart of Canal Street campaign raised $664,942, meaning each charity selected during the random drawing will receive $22,164 to support their vitally important children’s programming over the next year.

Heart of Canal Street is Potawatomi Casino Hotel’s signature charity giving program. In 1994 a handful of charities split just more than $100,000. Since that time more than 350 organizations have benefitted from a fundraising total now topping $21.4 Million.
