Brew City Bliss: Baseball, Beer, and Fun

Milwaukee is home to famous brewers, including Blatz, Pabst, Schlitz, and Miller, and have countless bars and festivals to celebrate its extensive history. Whether you are new to Milwaukee or just passing through, we have created a list of attractions and activities centered around what makes Milwaukee famous—the beer.

Baseball in the Brew City

Nothing says "beer" like catching a baseball game with your friends, coworkers, or family. Milwaukee has plenty of opportunities for you to see both professional, non-professional, and independent baseball games.

Milwaukee Brewers – The professional baseball team has called Milwaukee home since 1970. You know it will be a great day of baseball with the retractable roof at American Family Field, and when the Brewers hit a home run, Bernie Brewer will take a trip down the slide. Take part in the fun and camaraderie by singing "Roll Out the Barrel" while drinking a brewski with fellow Wisconsinites. Ensure you stay for the Sausage Race in the bottom of the sixth inning!

Lake Country DockHounds – They are Wisconsin's newest professional baseball team, located in the Lake County Area. They will play home games at the Wisconsin Brewing Company Park and will provide their fans with a fun, family-friendly atmosphere.

Milwaukee Milkmen – The Milkmen are an independent pro baseball team based in Franklin, Wisconsin. They are a partner of the MLB and routinely have themed nights and activities for their fans. Franklin Field also has plenty of activities throughout the summer months, so grab a beer, catch a game, and enjoy good company this summer in Milwaukee.

Sip, Spin, Win!

What is better than playing Bier Haus-inspired slot games while enjoying a cold lager? Potawatomi Casino Hotel has plenty of slot machines to choose from, but three Bier Haus-inspired games from Light & Wonder stand out.

  • Heidi’s Bier Haus

Step into Heidi’s Bier Haus to play for your chance to win BIG. Collect five or more red, purple, or green Heidi symbols to trigger the free game feature, where you can win up to 100 free spins! In Prost! mode, Heidi will also fill each reel with bier and turn them into wilds on any denomination. You can find Heidi’s Bier Haus on the casino's second floor, near Rock & Brews Restaurant.

  • Heidi & Hannah’s Bier Haus

Heidi is back with Hannah to help you win BIG and enjoy a Bavarian Bier Haus-style Oktoberfest. Enjoy upbeat, jaunty music and graphics while playing this interactive slot machine. Try to collect five or more red, purple, or green Heidi, Hannah, or Hans symbols to trigger the free game feature. Use the Probst! feature to enhance your chances of getting a reel full of bier. Heidi & Hannah’s Bier Haus can be found on the first floor near Bar 360.

  • Bier Haus: Roll Out The Barrel

After watching a Milwaukee Brewer’s game, play Bier Haus: Roll Out the Barrel. Similar to the other two Bier Haus games, collecting five purple, green, or red symbols will unlock the free game feature. Barrels will roll onto the reels to reveal different symbols to help you win BIG. Keep an eye out for the large Bier Stein that can roll across the screen and add wilds to any reel. To play Bier Haus: Roll Out the Barrel, look for it on the second floor of the casino in the ElevenHundred Gaming area.

Looking to complete the Bier Haus experience? Visit Rock & Brews Restaurant on the casino’s second floor to order a pint of beer and a Giant Soft Authentic Bavarian Pretzel.
