MILWAUKEE - The Forest County Potawatomi Foundation (FCPC) presented a $25,000 grant to the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation Thursday to promote Badges for Baseball, a crime prevention program designed to pair law enforcement professionals as baseball coaches and mentors with at-risk youth in Milwaukee.
Participants will learn the basics of baseball and softball while taking part in the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation's character development program, Healthy Choices, Healthy Children.
