Investing in our Business—for the Benefit of Many

Early on, the Forest County Potawatomi Community established what has become its largest enterprise starting with an initial investment of $140 million for improvements in the Valley, beautifying an environmentally unsound and neglected area in need of revitalization.

In 2000, the Casino was first expanded, representing a $120 million investment in its business, making it possible to offer additional gaming options. It was a substantial change from 1991 when the Casino was a small bingo hall located just outside downtown Milwaukee.

With an eye on the future and ongoing growth, the Forest County Potawatomi Community invested in a $240 million expansion of the Casino, which was complete in June 2008. In just over 15 years, a dramatic vision has been realized—along the way providing opportunities for local residents, building solid community partnerships and generating millions for state and local communities.
